Welcome to Extreme Ice Center, Home of the Center Ice Adult League! The Center Ice Adult League (CIAL) is an adult recreational hockey league. It has been designed to emphasize sportsmanship, mutual respect, fair play for all players, and to provide enjoyable year-round adult recreational hockey. Every effort has been and will continue to be made to ensure that the CIAL is a fun and safe league in which to play, and it is our goal to provide clean, competitive yet recreational hockey for all our players. We encourage team captains to work with our staff to ensure that this goal is met. In this way, we can respond to the needs of all players and provide a satisfying experience while improving the quality of play. 

Leagues we have:

A , B, C1, C2, and C3 Play on Fridays and Sundays

Development League - Plays on Saturday Nights During the season and Monday Nights During the Summer

League Structure & Level Definitions

A League 

The A League is the highest level of competition in the Adult League. Teams are composed of highly skilled and experienced players, often with college, semi-professional, or equivalent backgrounds. Games are played at the fastest pace, with advanced strategies and a strong emphasis on winning. This division is intended for players seeking the most competitive environment.

B League

The B League is designed for strong and competitive teams that may not meet the elite standard of the A League but still possess a high level of skill and game knowledge. Players are experienced and committed, with games played at a fast and challenging pace. This division balances competition with accessibility for strong teams not yet at the premier level.

C1 League 

The C1 League provides a competitive but approachable environment for skilled players who want to compete at a high level without the intensity of A or B play. Teams in C1 generally have solid game experience and consistency but may lack the depth of top-division rosters. The focus is on maintaining a strong level of competition while keeping the league accessible.

C2 League 

The C2 League is intended for players and teams with moderate skill levels who are comfortable with the game but prioritize balance between competition and recreation. While games remain competitive, the pace is less intense than C1, with more emphasis on enjoyment and steady development.

C3 League 

The C3 League is suited for players with some experience who value fun and participation over results. Competition exists, but the primary focus is on sportsmanship, teamwork, and enjoying the game. This division serves as a bridge between beginner-level play and more competitive tiers.

D League

The D League is the entry-level division for new or casual players. Games emphasize fun, learning, and inclusivity, with less focus on competitive outcomes. This division is ideal for individuals who are new to the sport, returning after time away, or simply seeking a relaxed environment to play and improve.

NEW TO ADULT HOCKEY?

Extreme Ice Center offers several leagues for Adults to partake in.

All Hockey programs at Extreme Ice Center are USA Hockey Sanctioned. All participants MUST be registered with USA Hockey and turn in their USA Hockey Registration Number to Extreme Ice at time of payment. Any player not registered and/or fully paid will not be permitted on the ice.
