The Stephen Russell Tournament is an annual hockey event that honors Stephen Russell. Stephen was a collegiate hockey goalie that played his very last hockey game here at the Extreme Ice Center in 2009.

The Extreme Ice Center is so proud to announce that they will be hosting the 10th Annual Stephen Russell Hockey Tournament on November 8th – 10th.

This is the first time that XIC will be hosting this amazing tournament and we plan to make it into a memory that will last a lifetime.

One of the things that we would like to do is link 2 generations together and have a Mite Game Day with the Collegiate Hockey Players who will be participating in the tournament. The Stephen Russell Mite Game will take place on

Saturday, November 9th from 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM

This will give our Mites the chance to play against one another with the support of true College Hockey players behind them. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and we would love for all of you to join us during this truly amazing tournament that celebrates life and hockey!

If your 6U and/or 8U Mini Checkers player would like to play in the event, please register via the link below:
