What You Need to Know About the Rebranding to the Charlotte Rush:

What does this change really mean?

The only change that comes with the rebranding is the jersey and merchandise! Our program will remain the same and will still be run through Extreme Ice Center. The Charlotte Rush Junior Staff will assist in the development of the youth hockey players and coaches.

Who is operating the program?

                                Extreme Ice Center remains the sole operator of the youth hockey program. You will have access to the same great coaches and staff of XIC!  

What teams are you offering?

The same teams that have always been offered will continue to be offered with the Charlotte Rush: A/AA- 10U-18U.

Does my son/daughter have to register with the Rush?

                No. The registration process will remain the same and be done through Extreme Ice Center.

Why did you decide to rebrand?

                The Charlotte Junior Rush have been our primary tenant since their formation in 2015. Since they have occupied the building, they have embraced our “Extreme Ice Community” through various coaching and volunteer opportunities. We hope that sharing the name with the Junior level team will help to inspire young hockey players to grow and achieve the elite level hockey that is available to them “in their backyard.” The Rush have proven you do not need to leave Charlotte to move onto the highest levels of Junior Hockey and ultimately College hockey at the NCAA level.
