14U/16U/18U Fall & Winter Information
Who:
- Any player born between 2004 and 2009 may register to participate within our 14U/16U/18U Metro Hockey program.
Cost:
- The price for the Fall session of 14U/16U/18U Metro will be $995.00, and the cost for Winter session will be $995.00. Registering for both seasons before the first skate on August 22nd, will discount $150.00 from the total cost. (Payment Plan is Available)
Schedule:
- Practices and game sessions will take place on Mondays and Saturdays beginning on August 22nd
- August 22nd will serve as an evaluation skate through which we will create team rosters for the next skate on August 29th. After the skate on August 29th, we will confer and finalize the rosters to ensure parity within the league
- All sessions for our 14U/16U/18U Metro league will take place at The Extreme Ice Center and last for 1 hour
- There will be no session on Saturday, August 27th
- Plan for sessions to begin anywhere between 7:30 to 10:10pm on Mondays and 10:40am-2pm on Saturdays (typically we wil start at 11:40am)
- Full Schedule will be posted via SportsEngine after the second evaluation skate on August 29th

Staff:
- All ice sessions will be coached and monitored by our Queen City Royals coaches, volunteers, and some of our youth travel players.
Objectives:
- The goal of our 14U/16U/18U Metro Hockey program is to prepare the players for the next step in their hockey journey or within life. We plan to achieve this by developing our young players’ on-ice skills, overall athleticism, quality of character, and for their love of the game to grow by fostering an honorable and competitive environment for them to mature in. We also encourage and would love for athletes within these age groups to seek involvement opportunities within the rink whether it is just assisting in operations, or stepping onto the ice to lend a hand in coaching the youth themselves.
